Faux Wood grain and sponging

I used Close to Cocoa as my card base.  The technique part of the card uses More Mustard cardstock and the focal point is Very Vanilla.

I used Whisper White craft ink, and Classic ink in Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip.

The stamp is from the Bronc Buster set.

I really like this technique and will be demonstrating it during our class on Saturday, April 17, 2010.

Split Negative - Fifth Avenue Floral

I saw an example on Split Coast Stampers (SCS) posted by imastampin and I had to try it.  Her "Split Roses" can be found at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/757909&cat=500&ppuser=5282

For this SplitNegative heat embossing Technique I used the following cardstock: Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa, Almost Amethyst and So Saffron.  I used Two-Step Stampin'® Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set.  I embossed the image and words with white embossing powder.
